The Fold Legal (the Fold) has launched an online store, which enables members of the financial services industry to access and purchase its range of legal and compliance products.
Products on offer at ‘The Fold Online Store’ include the group’s compliance manuals and tools, agreement templates, advice tools and white papers for the financial planning, general insurance broking, underwriting agency and credit sectors.
Charmian Holmes, solicitor director at the Fold, says they started writing compliance manuals and tools many years ago after recognising that small businesses in the finance industry were ‘staggering’ under the weight of paperwork.
“The AFS and the NCCP requirements to have documented procedures for everything that moves can be overwhelming, especially for small businesses,” she says. “We produce customised versions of many required compliance documents and tools to help lighten that load.”
“We understand that potential clients want to evaluate the quality of our documents before implementing them in their businesses and they also want to know whether they will provide the right fit for their businesses. All visitors to the Fold Online Store can see samples of all our products – before they commit to anything.”
Holmes also says that many of the products now available online have been ‘substantially’ updated, edited and revised.
“We sought feedback from our existing clients on factors such as ease of use and effectiveness and made changes in line with their comments,” she says. “We believe we now have a great range of straight-forward, affordable documents that are easy for finance professionals to use and easy to implement.”
