Prime Capital has welcomed another experienced BDM in a bid to strengthen its sales team.
John Carnie, a former BDM at MKM Capital, has joined Prime Capital as a BDM for Victoria. Carnie said Prime Capital has a strong and clear vision of its place in the market, allowing it to address the needs of its SME clients especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Never has there been a more important time that SME’s have needed support of non- bureaucratic access to finance, and I look forward to assisting our brokers in helping their customers," he said.
Steve Sampson, chief commercial officer at Prime Capital, said Carnie has an extensive experience in the field dealing with brokers.
"It is truly inspiring for me to continue to attract such high calibre and experienced professionals to our team that provide fast and simple loans to Australian SMEs," he said.
Sampson said given that Prime Capital distributes its product solely through the broker network, it is a crucial move for the lender to boost its sales team to provide service to a growing SME cohort.
"We are able to avoid the big bank bureaucracy that SMEs can suffer, and the BDM team play a big part in making this happen," he said.
