Australian Broker has revealed the winners of the inaugural 5-Star Sustainable Programs awards – highlighting the outstanding mortgage organisations that are helping create a greener tomorrow.
In September 2023, Australian Broker invited mortgage companies across Australia to participate in a survey. The AB team objectively assessed each entry for detailed information, impact, metrics and true innovation – along with benchmarking against the other entries – to determine the 15 winners.
Firstmac, a privately owned company that has evolved from a small family business to one of Australia’s leading non-bank lenders, is among the country’s most sustainable mortgage companies for 2024.
Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Brisbane, Firstmac distributes home loans through mortgage brokers. It has nearly 600 employees and has offices in Brisbane, Manila, Melbourne, and Sydney.
