A non-major bank has announced the appointment of its new chief operations officer, scheduled to assume the role on 2 December 2019.
ME Bank has welcomed Rosanna Fornarino as COO, responsible for overseeing ME’s operations team of over 500 staff, covering customer service, as well as change and process efficiency across the enterprise.
Fornarino has more than 35 years’ experience across a broad range of senior and executive operations roles within banking, including a 25-year stint at ANZ spent in retail banking, human resources, domestic and international payments and risk.
She also spent a decade at NAB, working in senior operations and change implementation roles covering lending and payment operations, logistics, process efficiency, offshoring and retail banking operations.
Most recently, Fornarino spent a year at a multinational business consultancy and IT company, Infosys, as a consulting executive advisor for the financial services sector.
Fornarino has an MBA from Deakin University and a Graduate Diploma of Strategy and Innovation.
