New aggregator, My Local Broker, has announced the appointment of its first business development manager (BDM).
Darren McLeod has been appointed to the role and will work closely with the aggregator’s software trainers and broker support team.
An award-winning BDM, McLeod has been in banking and finance for over 30 years, with the last 10 years of those in third party distribution as a lender and aggregation BDM and mortgage broker.
“I saw the move as an opportunity to play a role in the evolution of something very new to the industry,” McLeod said.
Speaking of My Local Broker’s Chief software program, McLeod says he can’t wait to introduce it to brokers.
“Chief is purpose built for brokers and years ahead of where the market is. I am looking forward to assist brokers to build their business through this highly efficient, automated, market leading software.”
This appointment is part of a national expansion plan which will see My Local Broker have a strong foothold in all major states.
