The Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) has opened submissions for the 2022 Excellence Awards for both state and national categories, adding to it one new award category.
The MFAA Excellence Awards celebrate the work of the best brokers, business and industry professionals across 24 categories.
Mike Felton, chief executive officer of MFAA, said everyone has the chance to be named finalist or winner as submissions are judged based on one’s commitment and professionalism.
“Throughout 2021, our members and industry implemented significant reforms and continued to help Australians achieve their dreams, while navigating the ever-changing COVID-19 pandemic,” Felton said. “Importantly, our awards, particularly those for brokers, recognise key factors important to being an effective broker and are not purely based on volume and revenue.”
MFAA is also introducing a new Mortgage Manager Award to recognise the value mortgage managers bring to the industry.
“Our industry is diverse and wide ranging and we encourage submissions from individuals and business of all sizes and specialities,” Felton said. “The MFAA Excellence Awards are your chance to showcase your achievements.”
Submissions can be lodged through the 2022 MFAA Excellence Awards portal, while the deadlines for the State and National Excellence Awards are on Feb. 8 and March 8, respectively.
