Home values in Australia have ended the financial year strongly.
The RP Data-Rismark June Hedonic Home Value Index shows capital city dwelling values ended the 2013-2014 financial year 10.1% higher. Capital city home values rose 1.4% in June, mostly erasing a 1.9% decline in May.
Sydney was the best performing capital city, up 1% for the three months to June. Melbourne lagged the other capitals, down 2.4%.
