Major mortgage franchise
Aussie has launched another recruitment campaign to boost the numbers of its mortgage brokers and store franchisees in Perth and regional Western Australia.
The recruitment drive is on the back of a pick-up in growth in the Western Australian market. Aussie recorded a 24% increase in monthly loan volumes from the same time last year and settled over $1.5 billion in home loans over the year in its Western Australian arm.
This week Aussie’s founder and executive chairman John Symond will officially open four new stores in Warwick, Kalamunda, Victoria Park and Albany, with another two stores also expected to open this financial year. This will take Aussie’s store numbers to 21 across the state - increasing from 16 stores in June 2013.
“We are keen to continue expanding our Western Australian operations to meet our aggressive growth targets over the coming years. We’re offering recruits attractive commission rates, industry-awarded training and a choice of financially rewarding business opportunities,” Symond said.
Aussie has claimed a record year, growing its home loan settlements by 18% over the 2014 financial year to over $17 billion. The franchise said its national retail channel grew by almost 17% to 451 loan writers, while its number of franchise stores increased by 10 to 160. The number of Aussie mobile brokers also increased 14% to 438 nationwide.
In September, Aussie announced a major recruitment campaign aiming to add 200 brokers to its network over the next year. As a result of this new recruitment drive, the franchise is now seeking to increase its staff and broker numbers in Western Australia by 20% to 125 people.
