Credit specialist funds manager La Trobe Financial has announced the appointment of two new directors to its board, John Carrello, and John Marriott, after experiencing continuous funding inflows for 2012 and expected further growth in 2013.
Carrello has over 25 years’ experience in business reconstruction and insolvency. He’s a chartered accountant and principal with BRI Ferrier, experienced in corporate insolvency work across a variety of industries and a member of Insolvency Practitioners Association, as well as a registered and official liquidator.
He has only recently retired from the ANZ Banking Group and is widely respected.
President and CEO, Greg O’Neill says the move reflects the company’s development.
“After 60 years of solid performance and growth the company is going from strength to strength and this is the right time for these new appointments. Their first hand and current operational experience will play an integral part to the organisation’s shape and future”.
O’Neill also hinted at further appointment being made in the near future.
