A national mortgage broking firm has appointed new state managers in Western Australia (WA) and Victoria.
Resolve Finance has welcomed Maria Robinson to oversee the east coast state's interest, using her 22-year experience in both the banking and non-banking sectors. Clara Sciaretta will oversee the west coast state, with 20 years in the finance industry behind her.
As state managers they will be responsible for growing the company’s business opportunities and network within the states, including recruitment of brokers and franchisees.
For 12 years, Robinson was focused on franchise systems. She has previous experience at Rams Home Loans, Aussie Home Loans, as a manager at Westpac, as national capability development manager at ANZ and state manager for Victoria and Tasmania at Bank of Queensland.
Sciaretta began her career in the credit union sector and at the age of 21 was promoted to assistant loans manager with Westbond Credit Union, now known as CUA. She then spent 12 years as a business development management for AFG and most recently she was with Loan Market.
Discussing Robinson's appointment, Resolve Finance managing director Don Crellin, said, "Maria is a highly motivated and dynamic professional who has worked with banks, non-bank lenders, franchisors, wholesale funders, brokers, aggregators and mortgage managers as a career.
"Her extensive experience in establishing or evolving franchise models and her background as board director and state president at the Franchise Council of Australia allows her to oversee Resolve Finance’s Victorian franchise operation with expertise."
On Sciaretta's appointment, he said, "Throughout her career, Clara has demonstrated a commitment to helping people achieve their financial and lifestyle goals through increasing their income and productivity.
“Clara is an asset to our team and brings her extensive industry experience to her unique expertise to our already highly knowledgeable team.”
In their roles as state managers, both Robinson and Sciaretta said they were passionate about using these roles to mentor and support brokers.
Sciaretta said, "I enjoy assisting new brokers entering the industry and being part of their success by offering expert guidance and extensive knowledge.
“I am looking to connect each broker with a diverse panel of lenders and thousands of loan products, ensuring they have the tools to match customers with the right deal to suit their needs and ultimately thrive.”
Robinson said, "My passion is for training and coaching new brokers and lenders in sales, compliance, lead generation, lending and growing businesses."
