Business customers transitioning to CBA will continue to be served by Bankwest’s existing WA-based team, with the transition expected to take place over a period of years.
“While we acknowledge this is a significant change, we believe we will be better able to meet more customer needs with greater simplicity and ease,” Bankwest said.
The change relates only to commercial or business banking products and does not impact residential lending in any way.
Customers need not take any action for now and will be informed about the transition schedule.
