A new loan comparison site specialising in unsecured small business loans has launched, claiming it is the first of its kind in Australia.
The eBroker.com.au platform, aimed at small business owners, was launched in early August 2015 and boasts it is Australia’s first fully-independent website where Australian SMEs can compare non-bank business loans.
The site's founding director, Simon Isaacs, says over 400,000 small businesses in Australia are in need of cash flow finance, but are unable to get funding from a bank or don’t want to use assets as security.
“Most small businesses don’t know how many non-bank alternative options are out there for them,” he said.
“From straightforward unsecured loans to the option of cashing in invoices and loans backed by the security of a car, boat or machinery.
“We want eBroker to become the first place businesses go to when looking for a capital injection from a non-bank lending solution.”
According to Isaacs, the growth of this sector has only just begun with new lenders emerging every month.
