National aggregator
eChoice has announced another key appointment to its growing network.
Joining the team with an extensive background in banking, Stephen Gibson has been appointed as the aggregator’s Queensland business development manager.
Gibson commenced his career with
CBA where for over 15 years he worked within their retail, personal lending and local banking divisions. He then went on to hold management positions with several financial groups and most recently managed a team of in-home consultants, finance strategists and property consultants.
eChoice’s general manager of sales and distribution, Paul Liccione, said their broker network will be buoyed by Gibson’s appointment.
“Stephen brings a dedicated people-focus to this role. He thrives on getting the best out of team members and adapting to different environments, which was a critical element of his appointment in helping drive our growing activity in the aggregation market.”
Liccione said Gibson also understands the commercial realities and challenges of business from both sides of the fence, having worked for large financial institutions as well as being a self-employed business writer.
“Stephen is passionate about ensuring quality control is paramount in relation to financial advice, whether that service is delivered through a large company or a sole operator. And having that added level of quality assurance for any broker allows them to get on with the business of writing business.”
