A company specialising in cashflow finance has boosted its team yet further with “key appointments” intended to help drive sales growth across two major regions.
Since its 2017 launch, Australian Invoice Finance (AIF) has achieved loan portfolio growth of 120%, now operating in all Australian states with double the staff.
AIF offers to pay up to 85% of unpaid invoices without requiring property as security, with same-day approval and greater flexibility for clients going through challenging periods.
Sydney-based Aris Lockhart has been appointed as a business development manager (BDM) for New South Wales. Previously, Lockhart was a BDM for invoice finance platform Waddle and a client relationship manager for Scottish Pacific. His career in debtor finance began with ORIX Australia in 2001.
AIF also appointed Michael Coates as BDM for Victoria. Coates has extensive experience working with corporations of all sizes in the financial, legal, and accounting sectors. Additionally, Coates owns and operates his own Telstra business dealerships.
AIF managing director, Greg Charlwood, is “thrilled” that Lockhart and Coates have joined the team, and is confident they will successfully boost AIF’s presence in two of its major markets.
He said, “Aris has a wealth of experience in providing cashflow finance to small businesses in the NSW market, and Michael’s 15 years as a successful small business owner have given him a first-hand understanding of the challenges confronting SMEs.
“They will play central roles in our growth plans for the NSW and Victorian markets.”
