Asset finance lender Pepper Money has announced the appointment of Andrew Gamble as the new head of sales for asset finance.

Gamble (pictured above left) brings a wealth of experience and expertise in sales, product, and business performance to his new role, the company said.

Extensive experience in asset finance

With a tenure of over eight years, Gamble has been engaged in the growth of the asset finance business over this period.

Holding various senior positions within the business, including national manager of key accounts, head of business performance, and head of product, he has been instrumental in developing and strengthening Pepper Money’s relationships with key aggregators, brokers, and dealers in the asset finance market. He has also driven product innovation, pricing strategy, and business performance.

High praise from management

Ken Spellacy (pictured above right), general manager of asset finance at Pepper Money, said the company was delighted to have Gamble advance to the role, “especially during our 10-year anniversary celebrations, marking a new era for the Pepper Money Asset Finance business.”

Gamble “has been a valuable member of our team for many years, pushing the growth of the asset finance business and has demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and customer focus,” Spellacy said.

“He is well-respected by our partners and colleagues and has a deep understanding of the asset finance market and the needs of our customers. We are confident that he will continue to drive the growth of our asset finance business and support our vision to help more Australians succeed.”

Andrew Gamble’s vision

Gamble said he was “honoured and excited to take on this new challenge.”

Pepper Money has a strong reputation and track record in the asset finance industry, and I look forward to working with our talented and passionate sales team to further enhance our offering and service to our customers and partners,” he said.

Reflecting on his key focus areas, Gamble said: “I am passionate about leveraging technology to improve the customer experience – delivering efficiency and speed in financing processes.

“Innovations like OCR scanning, biometrics, and real-time settlements are streamlining operations and reducing the need for human intervention. Continuing this work will enable us to deliver on our promise to provide flexible and tailored solutions that help our customers achieve their goals.”

Gamble replaces Michael McEvoy, who has left Pepper Money to pursue an external opportunity.
