The Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) has opened nominations for its 2025 Excellence Awards, a prestigious program celebrating the industry’s most accomplished individuals, businesses, and lenders.

Running for more than 22 years, the MFAA Excellence Awards are regarded as one of the most respected accolades in the mortgage and finance sector.

Open exclusively to MFAA members, the awards highlight outstanding achievements across all states and territories, culminating in the National Excellence Awards ceremony in Melbourne in July 2025.

Nominations officially opened on Dec. 10, providing members the opportunity to showcase their successes or nominate peers who demonstrate exceptional professionalism and performance.

Independent judging and fair results

Award submissions undergo a rigorous evaluation process by an independent panel of expert judges, ensuring a fair and transparent selection. Results are audited by Hall Chadwick, reinforcing the awards’ reputation for integrity.

For the lender categories, results are determined solely through member voting and are also audited for accuracy.

Recognition for top performers

MFAA CEO Anja Pannek (pictured above) expressed excitement about celebrating the achievements of MFAA members during another challenging year.

“Over the past 12 months, MFAA members have continued to provide exceptional support, service, and guidance to Australian consumers and business owners in the midst of challenging economic conditions,” Pannek said.

She encouraged all members to participate, noting the significance of the awards in recognising peak industry performance.

“The 2025 MFAA Excellence Awards are a fantastic opportunity for our members to be recognised for reaching the pinnacle of industry achievement,” Pannek said.
