A leading property research and investment firm has developed an educational platform for brokers, which it says will help brokers capitalise on the changes in the investment market.
Aviate Group has launched an intensive investment property training and development program, Ignition, which it says will arm finance brokers with the knowledge, research and confidence to guide and support their clients through an investment property journey.
Ignition is a two day course where brokers will learn how to responsibly advise clients on property investment, gain insights on how to grow their business through property referral, and understand what makes a sound investment property.
The two-day course will also contribute towards a broker’s CPD points, being the only property program created with the accreditation of Kaplan Professional Education.
Aviate Group’s managing director Neil Smoli says brokers who qualify themselves will ensure they remain front of mind as an expert for clients, not just a means to an end.
“Too often clients come to brokers once they have already decided on an investment property and need to apply for finance. In this all too common scenario, the broker might not know if their client has chosen a great investment property or a dud,” Smoli said.
“Or worse, as a finance broker, you may know that this decision is not right for your clients but you are not in the position to have that conversation.
“Ignition equips you with the tools to be front of mind, positioning you as a solution provider. You will start to be considered by your clients at the beginning of their investment journey, not at the end. In this way, you can better protect your clients’ security by guiding them in the right direction.”
The Ignition program combines the technical insights and expertise of Aviate Group, Kaplan Corporate Training and Core Logic RP Data. In addition, the program will offer a marketing component and an educational session on the neuroscience approach to client relationships.
