Suncorp Bank has appointed former
Australian Finance Group sales manager Ben Whitnall as its new intermediary state manager for Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.

AFG, most recently as the national sales manager for equipment finance and personal loans, and has worked for BMW Financial Services and GE Money.
Suncorp intermediaries head Steven Degetto said the appointment reinforced the bank’s commitment to the broker channel and the continued national growth of its lending business.
“Having an experienced and dedicated intermediary team is vital to us at Suncorp Bank as we continue to expand our business and improve our offering to brokers.

Whitnall said he was looking forward to the role and will offer his experience and enthusiasm to provide better, faster and more efficient service and support to Suncorp’s broker partners.
Suncorp also announced Paul Vogl has been promoted to intermediaries state manager for Western Australia, after working for the bank since 2012.
