The winners of the 2023 MFAA State Excellence Awards for South Australia and the Northern Territory were announced last night during a ceremony held at Adelaide Oval.
The final of five state award ceremonies held in June, the 18 winners will be finalists in their respective categories at the National MFAA Excellence Awards ceremony on Thursday, July 27.
MFAA CEO Anja Pannek said the awards recognised those members who had excelled in areas including customer service, professionalism, ethics, growth, and innovation.
“It’s been wonderful to celebrate our members’ achievements across the country at each of our State Excellence Awards, and the ceremony here in Adelaide has been no exception,” said Pannek.
“Our members deliver outstanding outcomes for Australians every day which is evident from the quality and number of nominations we received this year, and the recognition of all finalists and winners is well deserved.”
Among the winners was Matthew Ford (pictured above left) from Finestream Capital, who won the Commercial & Equipment Finance Broker Award, and Protego Finance’s Ben Gregory (pictured above centre), who was honoured with the Residential Finance Broker Award.
Belinda Sugars (pictured above right) from Mortgage Choice Parkside won the Community Champion Award, while ubank won the Fintech Lender Award.
Last week the MFAA hosted the Victoria and Tasmania Awards in Melbourne, while the Perth, NSW/ACT, and Queensland awards were held earlier this month.
The MFAA said the awards, audited by accounting firm Hall Chadwick, were judged on excellence and professionalism across all areas of the business.
