Lendi Group, the company behind Aussie Home Loans and digital mortgage brand Lendi, recently unveiled its latest product, the servicing Sandbox, during its biannual conference at Sydney’s ICC.

Developed with input from over 120 brokers from the Aussie and Lendi brands, the Sandbox is designed to streamline lending conversations by providing accurate, lender-specific outcomes from the initial broker-client interaction.

Sandbox capabilities and features

The Sandbox offers several innovative features that enhance efficiency for brokers:

  • Immediate generation of lender-specific results.
  • Ability to model and compare various transaction scenarios instantly.
  • Integration with Salesforce to save and track different scenarios.
  • Direct transition from modeling data in the Sandbox to launching new loan applications.

Dual-component structure

The platform is structured around two main functions to assist customers: constructing deals and packaging/submitting them.

This dual approach is bolstered by dynamic updates and robust data integration, ensuring comprehensive support for brokers.

Sandbox boosts broker efficiency

Travis Tyler (pictured), chief product officer at Lendi Group, emphasised the Sandbox’s role in enhancing broker efficiency.

“Sandbox empowers brokers to work smarter, build trust faster, and guide customers toward the right solution with more confidence than ever before,” Tyler said.

“This is about technology doing the heavy lifting, so brokers can focus more on their clients.”

The tool adjusts for lender-specific rules, including different income shading methods, age-related criteria for certain benefits, and how liabilities are assessed.

Scott Bolton, a franchisee with Aussie Manuka and early participant in the Sandbox trials, praised the tool’s impact.

“We can really quickly and accurately look at a customer’s position and run different scenarios and that’s saving us a lot of time,” Bolton said. “The process and feedback loop has been very transparent and collaborative which has given me and my team total confidence in the product too, which is just as important.”

Future developments

Lendi Group, which recently unveiled Aussie brand makeover, plans to expand the Sandbox’s capabilities further, with upcoming enhancements including industry-first transaction modeling, assessment features, and AI integration.
