Non-bank lender Homeloans Ltd has appointed four new business development managers for Queensland, NSW and Victoria and a new business development officer in Queensland.
The appointments add to Homeloans’ national team of 13 BDMs, who are responsible for relationships with third party brokers, says the group’s general manager, sales, Greg Mitchell.
“One of our key objectives is maintaining and growing our relationships with brokers and having a strong BDM team is instrumental to achieve this. The Australian property market is showing signs of renewed confidence this year, and as interest rates continue to be cut to bolster the economy, it’s opportune to enhance our team, which ensures we can capitalise on growth,” says Mitchell.
The new BDMs and BDO all have experience in finance and relationship management and are as follows:
BDM, Darren Stratford, QLD: “As the CEO of his own mortgage broking business for many years,” Mitchell says, “Darren went on to management roles in sales and lending. His extensive knowledge in the industry will help support his broker network and achieve sales and service goals.”
BDM Lauren Taylor, QLD: “A former BDM with Bankwest and Citibank, Lauren is focused on providing brokers with exceptional service, fast turnarounds and a positive approach to meet both the broker’s and their client’s needs.”
BDM Julie Adams: “NSW Julie is focused on providing a superior customer experience, having more than 15 years’ experience working with a number of lenders dedicated to the third party broker channel.”
BDM Dien Le, VIC: “Dien previously worked as a credit officer and in sales at Citibank, which means he has exceptional insight into every stage of a loan and will help ensure his broker network can secure every loan quickly and smoothly.”
BDO Peter Brophy, QLD: “Having previously managed his own finance business, Peter has well-honed skills in sales, customer solutions and people management.”
