Credit specialist fund manager La Trobe Financial has announced the appointment of Hong Kong-based director, Hung Fei Chan, to its board.
Chan joins La Trobe Financial with 30 years’ experience in advising on cross-border investment transactions to companies based in China, Hong Kong, Australia and the United States.
He’s a qualified lawyer able to practice law both in Australia and China and is also involved in the higher education sphere, having been appointed as a research fellow by Tsing Hua University Beijing where he manages continued education courses and research programs.
Chan says he will focus on ways to increase two-way trade between China and Australia.
He is currently based in Hong Kong and will assist La Trobe Financial in expanding its footprint and network in the Asia and Greater China regions.
