ConnectID, a digital identity solution by Australian Payments Plus (AP+), has expanded its network by partnering with Lendela, Australia’s first digital loan matching platform.
The partnership enhances security and efficiency in loan application processes for Australian users.
“Expanding our operations into the lending space is an important step for us,” said Andrew Black (pictured above left), managing director for ConnectID.
Lendela’s integration of ConnectID ensures a faster, more secure loan application process.
“Integrating ConnectID with our platform allows us to establish the highest levels of data security and accuracy from the very start of a borrower’s journey,” said Jake Osborne (pictured above right), Australia country manager at Lendela.
By pre-filling user information, the platform minimizes errors and reduces manual data entry, improving the user experience.
As more Australians seek personal loans, with 14% already holding one according to Finder, Lendela’s partnership with ConnectID aims to simplify the loan process.
“This integration will accelerate our mission to simplify borrowing in Australia and enable greater access to financing for Australians, at a time when it's perhaps most needed,” Osborne said.
The addition of Lendela to ConnectID’s ecosystem reinforces its role in providing secure digital identity verification across various sectors.
“By working with Lendela, we aim to provide a more secure and reliable onboarding process for their customers,” Black said.
