A non-major was awarded at the 2019 Australian LGBTI Inclusion Awards held in Sydney.
Suncorp was given Silver Employer Status at the event which honours organisations for their LGBTI inclusion based on the results of the Australian Workplace Equality Index.
The bank welcomes the acknowledgement of its “commitment to inclusion, and the work of Amplify” – Suncorp’s LGBTIQ+ employee network.
Additionally, AAMI – part of the Suncorp Network – was awarded ‘Best External Media Campaign’ for its ‘Road to Broken Hill’ TV commercial.
“I am proud that Suncorp has been recognised for the work we are doing to champion an inclusive workplace, as well as being recognised as a leader in our inclusive approach to marketing,” said Pip Marlow, CEO customer marketplace at Suncorp Group.
“I passionately believe that we will only be our best when our workforce is as diverse as the communities in which we live and operate,” she concluded.
