The demand for business development managers (BDMs) in Australia’s mortgage industry is increasing as the industry navigates economic challenges. But what does it take to be the best?
Australian Broker has announced its annual 5-Star BDMs 2024, highlighting those who have excelled in problem-solving, providing solutions, and serving as trusted advisers to brokers across the country.
In February, Australian Broker embarked on an extensive research project to identify the leading BDMs in Australia for the fourth annual 5-Star BDMs awards.
The process began with a survey reaching a broad spectrum of brokers nationwide. Through detailed phone interviews, brokers were asked to identify the BDMs who offered the best support.
The evaluation was based on four criteria:
From over 1,000 nominations, the researchers narrowed the field to 180 BDMs. Out of these, 60 individuals stood out for their exceptional performance across all categories, earning the 5-Star BDM designation.
