ANZ bank has boosted its satisfaction rating amongst business customers in the past two months, leaving
NAB trailing behind.
According to the latest research in DBM Consultants' October Business Financial Services Monitor (BFSM),
CBA still sits at top spot with a rating of 7.5 out of ten, with
Westpac close behind at 7.4.
While ANZ still sits in third place, it’s rating of 7.2 is 0.4 points up on the last survey, halving the previous gap between ANZ and the top two banks.
Previously ANZ had tied with NAB in last place, but this year NAB is alone at the bottom with a rating of 7.0.
DBM Director Maria Claridad said the increase in ANZ's rating had come mostly from micro businesses, which have an annual turnover of less than $1 million.
"Micro businesses reported the greatest increase in satisfaction, with ANZ up by 0.4 points in the past six months," Ms Claridad said.
The BFSM is based on interviews with 20,000 businesses a year.
