AMP Bank has announced a partnership with MSA National, a legal services provider, to enhance mortgage documentation and settlement services

AMP and MSA integrate Simpology tech

Following its recent alliance with Simpology, AMP Bank is set to fully integrate MSA National’s technology into the Simpology platform. This integration aims to streamline the loan origination process, making it faster and more transparent.

“Our new partnership with MSA National and its integration with Simpology’s technology will transform our loan origination process and equip brokers with a market-leading home loan experience,” said Sean O'Malley (pictured above left), group executive at AMP Bank.

“This will result in a faster time to receive loan documents, superior visibility through the application process, and greater certainty from submission to settlement,”

AMP enhances broker and customer tools

Brokers can expect quicker issuance of loan documents, clear communication on file status, and comprehensive updates via the LoanTrak portal.

For customers, the benefits include better support during the loan process, full visibility through the OnTrak portal, and efficient payment mechanisms for disbursements.

Melissa Christy (pictured above right), head of lending origination at AMP Bank, highlighted the community-focused approach to the partnership.

“We’ve actively sought feedback from the broker community in selecting to partner with both MSA National and Simpology, and we’re excited to also transform the settlement experience for them,” Christy said.

Future plans and goals

The pilot for this integrated solution is scheduled for Q4 2024, with a full launch expected in Q2 2025.

Sam Makhoul, managing director at MSA National, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration.

“From our first meeting with the AMP and Simpology teams, it was clear that we share a common vision and transformation roadmap,” Makhoul said. “Together we aim to provide a highly automated process by leveraging MSA’s digital products and MSA’s file ownership model which gives customers and brokers a single point of contact.

“This blend of technology and personal touch aims to deliver unprecedented turnaround times with care.”
