With over 33 years’ experience in the banking and finance industry, Heritage BDM Andrew Galloway has built a strong reputation as an advocate for brokers with his outstanding service approach and can-do attitude.

Andrew has worked in various sales and credit-related roles at Super Members Home Loans (now ME Bank), Citibank and Westpac, gaining valuable insights from both a process and customer-facing perspective. 

Bringing this experience to Heritage’s retail banking team in 1999, Andrew worked in a number of leadership roles, including branch manager, before being appointed as a Business Development Manager in Heritage's Broker Distribution team in 2006. 

Andrew has flourished in this role, gaining recognition at a number of industry awards including “Queensland’s Smartline BDM of the Year for Best Major Non-Bank” in 2016 and 2018. Within Heritage, he was twice named Business Development Manager of the Year, and is also a member of Heritage Bank’s retail network “Hall of Fame”.

Notably, over the last 18 months during the uncertainty and challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Andrew has maintained an unwavering commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for his brokers and their clients. More recently he’s taken on the additional responsibility of servicing broker partners in Western Australia with AFG & Smartline, while maintaining his current relationships with these groups throughout South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
