Small business loan specialist
OnDeck Australia has announced two new appointments to foster growth in its broker channel.
The firm has hired two new business development managers (BDMs), Adrian Dodson in Melbourne, Victoria and Tim Kwast on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
Dodson was a former BDM at
Bankwest and has held relationship executive roles across corporate and institutional banking at Bank of Melbourne, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (
CBA), and
Westpac.
Kwast has worked for more than 18 years at National Australia Bank (
NAB), spending the last 10 years in business banking manager roles across several regions.
“Both Queensland and Victoria are key markets in the Australian broking landscape and this is an exciting time for us to now have dedicated people to identify new business opportunities in these regions,” said Cameron Poolman, CEO of OnDeck Australia.
“Both Tim and Adrian are established financial services professionals with a high level of financial acumen. They are terrific assets to our business and will play an important part in supporting our growth into the broking market,” said Michael Burke, head of sales.
Burke joined OnDeck Australia earlier this year to facilitate the firm’s expansion into the broker channel.
