Amanda Scott has joined the company as the South Australian state manager, moving from
ANZ where she worked for more than 20 years in a number of senior positions.
Scott said she was humbled to be working for Mortgage Choice and looked forward to working closely with the firm’s South Australian franchisees.
“I have a significant amount of experience in mortgage broking, financial planning and small business management, and I look forward to bringing all that I know to this new role,” she said.
“Throughout my career, I have dealt extensively with the Mortgage Choice South Australian network. And, from my experience, I know the network to be filled with professional, ethical, hard-working mortgage brokers who are best of breed.”
When the opportunity to join Mortgage Choice came up, Scott said the job offer was too good to refuse.
“I look forward to helping Mortgage Choice’s South Australian franchisees grow and evolve their business over the coming months and years.”
Scott said she was looking forward to helping the state’s franchise network and their customers make better choices for a better life.
“I am excited for this new chapter and can’t wait to do whatever it takes to help my new network of small business owners achieve every success.”
While at ANZ, Scott was the bank’s SA/NT regional manager of mobile lending. Prior to that, she was a senior business development manager with the bank for over 15 years.
Mortgage Choice CEO John Flavell said that it was wonderful to have someone of Scott’s experience and calibre joining the team.
“Amanda’s wealth of experience means she is ideally placed to lead Mortgage Choice to further growth in the financial services sector across South Australia,” he said.
“Amanda’s previous experience with ANZ means she is already well known and well loved by everyone within the Mortgage Choice network. Her knowledge, intelligence and can-do attitude will put her in good stead.”
He expressed his confidence that Scott would have the skills and abilities required to help the firm’s South Australian network of franchisees grow, evolve and prosper.
