Specialist insurer LFI Group has strengthened its broker support capabilities through the expansion of its sales and operations teams.
The firm welcomes Paul Concannon as its new manager and Grant Smith as the BDM for Victoria and Tasmania. Both have extensive experience in the finance industry and have previously worked at
Liberty Financial, which owns LFI.
“Current market conditions are seeing more brokers looking for additional ways to provide added value to their customers and diversify their businesses, so we’ve been busy at LFI,” Concannon said.
“We’ve seen significant broker interest in our mortgage protection offering for residential mortgages, as well as our loan protection and vehicle equity insurance for motor loans. By adding more support to the team, we’re giving ourselves the numbers to process the many calls and requests that are coming in from brokers every day.”
Concannon has worked for over 15 years in the finance industry, 12 of which were with Liberty. He has held a number of sales roles including residential BDM, commercial BDM and operations.
Smith has had eight years of experience working as a BDM in both commercial and residential lending.
“We’re really excited to have Paul and Grant join our team. With Paul leading the operations team and Grant out on the road meeting with brokers, we’re well placed to continue the strong growth we’ve been experiencing in the last twelve months,” said LFI national sales manager, Kevin Arkell.
LFI is still recruiting for additional BDM roles across Australia to build an even larger support team that helps brokers utilise the benefits of the company’s many insurance offerings, he added.
“More exciting updates are expected to follow as we continue to expand our teams, update our products and invest in an improved broker and customer experience.”
